Daniels Restaurant extends a warm invitation in a majestic dining setting. Ornate with crystal chandeliers an an authentic and fully restored 17th century fireplace, the restaurant's luxurious setting replicates the artistic and delicious dishes created by Executive Chef Ludovic Dumont. The modern cuisine offered at Daniel's Restaurant reinvents traditional French culinary techniques while utilizing only the freshest ingredients through revolutionary cooking tools.

THE CHEF'S TABLE

Chef Dumont offers a "Chef's Table" experience, where guests are transported on a new culinary journey each day. Each day, new meals are prepared to highlight the seasonal and fresh products of the region chosen that day. The chef can work with guests to create a customized menu to your liking, while keeping in mind any dietary or allergy restrictions. Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal, with each course paired with a wine that highlights the flavors and textures of that dish. Dishes include a strong appetizer, followed by fresh bread, an entree that will be the highlight of your evening, a fresh plate of salty and sweet cheeses of the region, and will conclude with a dessert that wraps all of the flavors of the evening together. Chef Dumont is known for pushing his ingredients to the limits, while keeping his products controlled by respecting the flavors.

THE CHEF

Born in Dunkirk, Ludovic Dumont grew up in a working class family where he spent most of his time in the kitchen, learning how to cook from his mother and grandmother. At a young age, he began to learn how to cook by reading the books of great chefs such as Auguste Escoffier, Maurice Edmond Sailland and Paul Bocuse. Deterred by his parents to not follow in a profession of cooking, Dumont spent 18 years working as an electrical engineer. However, in 2012 Chef Dumont quit his job on a whim and entered himself in the famous "Masterchef" competition, where he won first place. Since then, Dumont has earned the prestigious culinary certifications at the Lenotre cooking and pastry training program, as well as certification in learning the precision of preparing Japanese cuisine. He has since worked with famous chefs like Alain Ducasse at Plaza Athénée and at Le Meurice Hotel. Dumont's dishes are known for being small dishes epitomizing culinary art, prepared with simple products that are rich in French heritage and made with love.
